March 7th is the date set for the big announcement - at least thats the rumor mill right now. It usually only takes a week or two before the first iPad 3 will go on sale near a store near you. From the previous experiences most manufacturers start the building process immediately following the launch. Cases for the iPad 3 usually hit the shelves 2-4 weeks afterwards. We'll be taking pre-orders as usual for cases that need exact measurements once the iPad 3 is released. As of right now, it appears from the rumor mill, that many iPad 2 cases will indeed work.

A few manufacturers have also introduced compatible sleeves so that you'll be protected on day 1 of launch. We'll keep you posted as the date gets closer!
